Valerie has edited ten feature films and written, produced, and edited over one hundred shorts, trailers, featurettes, non-fiction documentaries, social pieces and music videos, accumulating awards from Clio Entertainment, Promax, American Advertising, Golden Trailer, and more. Four of her features have premiered at SXSW, as well as having films premiere at Sundance, Tribeca Film Festival, and Fantastic Fest. Most recently, she has worked as a senior editor in Netflix’s internal agency, Creative Studio.
Valerie has also participated as a juror for Third Eye Film Festival and for the Clio Entertainment Awards. She has also been named one of the top 10 exceptional female editors in genre filmmaking.
